Description

West Norfolk Swimming Club was formed in 2009, following a merger between King's Lynn Warriors SC and Downham Market and District SC.

West Norfolk Swimming Club is a fully inclusive, competitive Swimming Club for all ages.  The majority of swimmers are aged between 9 and 17 but there are squads and competitions for all ages.

The Club competes in a number of leagues around the region providing opportunities for all swimmers to participate in Competitive swimming Galas.

Training takes place six days of the week, the frequency and duration of training are determined by the ability of the swimmer, not by age.  This allows swimmers to develop at their own pace and amongst similarly skilled athletes.

We regularly have swimmers represent Norfolk and the Eastern Region. We also usually have swimmers gain National Qualifying times.

Kings Lynn Academy became West Norfolk champions last Mon when they won the West Norfolk schools KS3 Basketball tournament. They beat Springwood in a very close and well contested final 9-4 and will now represent West Norfolk at the County finals.
