Castle Acre took home the Winner's Trophy at the recent Tag Rugby Tournament for schools in the Hamonds & Litcham clusters.
Nearly 75 Year 5 & 6 children took part in the Rugby Festival on February 11th, held at Swaffham Rugby Club. There was a very high standard of Tag Rugby played throughout the day, with plenty of Tries being scored by all teams taking part which was great to see.
Castle Acre won all their 5 fixtures to top the table at the end of day, closely followed by Weasenham in 2nd who only lost one game all day. The other teams who took part where Swaffham Junior 'A' & 'B', Sporle & Castle Acre 'B'.
Huge thanks as always go to the pupils, teachers & parents for all their support in coming along to the event. Also, a massive thank you from everyone went towards Richard, Roy & Des from Swaffham RUFC for their refereeing through the day as well as to the club itself for making its superb facilites available.
