Omnes Games Handball

Thursday 28th September saw the first festival of 8 in the ‘Omnes Games’. Omnes (latin meaning¬†FOR ALL) is aimed at engaging students and offers opportunities for local school children to take part in alternative physical activity. Giving those who may not participate in mainstream sports the chance to represent their school and become part of a team. The Omnes Games where inspired by Prince Harry’s ‘Invictus Games’ launched last year.
Handball was the first festival of the 2017-18 academic year. Organised and run by King’s Lynn Community Football, 7 schools attended the festival and played round robin matches. For nearly all the children it was there first experience of playing Handball. A big thank you to College of West Anglia students who assisted with the officiating on the day.
