A record breaking 20 school teams took part in this years Year 3&4 Sportshall Athletics finals hosted at Lynnsport. The competition was so popular that it had to be split into a morning and afternoon competition to cater for the number of entries.

Each school team comprised of 10 boys and 10 girls who completed Field events in Vertical Jump, Speed Bounce, Standing Long Jump, Chest Push, Foam Javelin and Five Strides. On the track there were Sprint, Hurdle and Obstacle relays.

All times and distances were recorded by the Sports Leaders from the College of West Anglia and the results culminated in team scores for Boys and Girls separately.

The morning session winners were Dersingham for the Boys and Holly Meadows for the Girls while in the afternoon it was North Wootton for the Boys and St Marthas for the Girls.

Overall Winners were North Wootton Boys and Holly Meadows Girls who will now progress to the Norfolk School Games in February at the UEA Sportspark.
